Let’s take a moment to reflect on the year 2023 and the movies that were released. The year was full of incredible films and below are a few examples of popular ones. If you haven’t watched any of these yet, you may want to give them a try. Of course, there are many other great movies out there as well.
Encanto
The Madrigals are an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift — every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigal’s last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.
One of the things I noticed in this movie is that every single member of the family is going through a personal issue while still trying to make Abuela proud and not disappoint her in any way. Including the fact that it makes the audience relate to the character.
In the end, the family realizes that they need to embrace all their issues with one another to solve the main conflict that would plague the entire family.
Super Mario Bros. Movies
While working on fixing a water main in Brooklyn, two brothers and plumbers, Mario and Luigi, find themselves unexpectedly transported through a mysterious pipe to a magical new world. The brothers soon realize that they have landed in a world vastly different from their own, filled with talking creatures, strange landscapes, and unusual challenges.
As they explore this new world, Mario and Luigi are separated and must navigate through various obstacles and dangers to find each other and ultimately make their way back home. Along the way, they meet new friends and allies who help them in their quest, but also encounter fierce enemies determined to stop them.
The brothers must use all their skills and wits to overcome the challenges that come their way, including defeating towering monsters, navigating treacherous terrain, and solving complex puzzles. Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse:
After being reunited with his old friend Gwen Stacy, Miles Morales, also known as Brooklyn’s full-time and friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, finds himself thrust into a wild and unpredictable adventure. He is suddenly catapulted across the Multiverse, arriving in a strange and unfamiliar world where he encounters a team of Spider-People. This team is charged with the vital task of protecting the Multiverse from all manner of threats that could endanger its very existence.
As Miles begins to work alongside this team, he discovers that they are all unique versions of Spider-Man or Spider-Woman, hailing from different universes and timelines. Each one has their own set of skills and abilities, but they all share a common goal: to protect the Multiverse from harm.
However, when a new and dangerous threat arises, the team finds themselves at odds over how to handle the situation. Miles soon finds himself pitted against his fellow Spiders, forced to confront the harsh reality that even heroes can have differing opinions and motivations.

Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.
Barbie represents how women can do anything now. For young women, it’s saying they can be anything they want to be with hard work and perseverance. The movie is a feminist masterpiece—Barbie represents female empowerment, women being fearless.
So many people thought you had to be perfect like Barbie to get the jobs you want, but that’s not what it was. It showed that women could be in positions of power no matter being a woman. Barbie taught us that women are much more than moms, which baby dolls taught us, Barbie taught us to do what we want
